Connect IT 2025
Client: TMAB & V-ICT-OR
Sector: IT
Location: Flanders Expo, Ghent
Date: May 6, 2025
Following previous successful collaborations with V-ICT-OR, TMAB Business Events was asked to help shape a new, ambitious IT event that went beyond the existing Shop IT format. The result was Connect IT 2025: a future-oriented platform where technology, content, and networking merged into one dynamic total experience.
Connect IT welcomed more than 600 visitors from a wide range of sectors to Flanders Expo Ghent. The event combined a trade fair with a substantive conference program and an extensive networking section. It was not a traditional trade fair, but a cross-sector IT platform focused on inspiration, innovation, and concrete business opportunities.
TMAB was responsible for the strategic repositioning and concept development. In co-creation with the client, the target group was clearly defined and translated into a clear positioning, substantive programming, and a creative experience layer on the exhibition floor. The space was built around interaction: stands were supplemented with break-out sessions, experience zones, and informal networking environments. Content and experience flowed seamlessly from keynote to demo, from panel discussion to spontaneous encounters in the lounge.

TMAB also took charge of the entire organization at the operational level. In concrete terms, this meant, among other things:
- Project management from A to Z (planning, script, deadlines, budget management);
- Coordination of suppliers, exhibitors, and venue, including logistics and security monitoring;
- Complete technical production and onsite direction (lighting, sound, projection, technical script, and ongoing monitoring);
- Content programming and complete speaker management, including briefing, presentation guidance, and speaker flow;
- Development of visual identity, signage, and both digital and print media;
The exhibition environment was deliberately designed as a lively meeting place with clear circulation and a strong focus on networking. Registration and reception were handled via a professional online platform, supported by an experienced team of hostesses and a smooth visitor flow. The after-work event was integrated as an extension of the substantive day, facilitating maximum networking in a relaxed setting.
Connect IT 2025 thus grew into more than just an event: it became a benchmark for how a trade fair format can evolve into an integrated, content-rich, and experience-oriented total experience.
