Your trainer
Maarten is an entrepreneur, productivity trainer, and author. He is passionate about websites, personal development, and renewable energy.
Throughout his professional career, he has always had more ambition than time. He constantly has the next idea, the next innovation, or a process that could be improved swirling around in his head. As a result, he has had more side projects than he can count.
In 2015, he grew frustrated with his own productivity. He wanted to get more done, gain more control, and achieve greater peace of mind. Things simply had to be much better than they were at the time. Other people managed to accomplish so much in a single day, but how did they do it? He read many books and listened to hours of podcasts on the subject. They all contained good tips, but unfortunately, they did not bring about major changes. Until he read the book Getting Things Done by David Allen. This book described a scientifically backed method and focused on both work and personal life. He was enthusiastic and immediately put it into practice.
Maarten has now been using the Getting Things Done method for many years. He gets more done in a day, experiences less stress, forgets things much less often, and still has plenty of time left for family, friends, hobbies, volunteer work, etc.
Because he is so convinced of the method's effectiveness, he wanted to pass on that knowledge and became a certified Getting Things Done trainer in late 2019. Today, he helps others boost their productivity as well.
