Since 2023, the shores of LakeMaggiore have become the annual meeting place for voices determined to shape the future of healthcare. In Baveno, framed by mountain silhouettes and the tranquil rhythm of the water, we at TMAB Business Events have had the honor of bringing the Patient Engagement Open Forum (PEOF) to life: a three-day forum where ideas mature, courage is strengthened, and meaningful change takes root.
Each edition welcomes between 200 and 250 participants: patients and patient representatives, industry leaders, and advocates who combine professional expertise with personal experience. Together, they participate in inspiring plenary sessions, co-creation workshops that stimulate bold thinking, and a closing day focused on board members, dedicated to aligning a joint path forward. The goal remains unchanged: to create together, exchange knowledge, and achieve sustainable, patient-centered change.
As organizers, we take pride in orchestrating every layer of this forum with precision and care. TMAB is responsible for the complete coordination of the venue and provides thoughtful catering that nourishes both body and dialogue. We coordinate the audiovisual support and create onsite branding that reinforces every message. In addition, TMAB provides a seamless livestream, extending the conversation far beyond the venue and amplifying its impact. As the sun sets over the lake, participants are brought together during carefully curated social activities, where connection is as important as content.
One of these evenings is dedicated to the Made with Patients Award Show: a powerful celebration of authentic collaboration and patient-driven impact. In an atmosphere of attentive silence and shared emotion, stories unfold that reaffirm why PEOF exists and why it must continue to grow.
And it is growing.
With each passing year, PEOF continues to expand its reach, with more voices, richer dialogues, and greater ambition. What began as a gathering has evolved into a movement; what started as an initiative has grown into a community united by a shared goal. At TMAB, we are proud to stand behind this evolution, not as distant organizers, but as active partners in transformation.
In Baveno, year after year, we witness something rare: a space where humanity and expertise come together, where progress feels tangible, and where change is not only possible but inevitable.
