EU Drone Days - Event Lounge Brussels.

On the occasion of the launch of the European Commission's Drone 2.0 strategy, the DG MOVE department together with SESAR 3 JU organized a two-day conference at Event Lounge in Brussels on November 29 and 30, 2022. In addition to the conference, there was also a huge exhibition with more than 30 exhibitors with two life-size passenger drones set up.
This event had some 350 participants on both days, mostly members of the European drone community, policy makers and press from Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Romania, etc. European Transport Commissioner Adina Vălean opened the conference.
The goals of the event were:
- Highlighting the launch of the European Drone 2.0 strategy;
- Provide a platform for the European drone community to discuss and explore industry readiness for U-space implementation;
- Demonstrate the results of the SESAR 2020 U-space research program and promote the role of SESAR 3 JU in realizing U-space.
TMAB was responsible for the complete coordination of this event:
- Organization, participation and reporting of preparatory meetings with all vendors, staff and security;
- Contact and follow-up with all suppliers involved: security, personnel, technical equipment and services, catering, transportation, venue, printing, gadgets, furniture, photographer, ... ;
- Administrative and logistical support: catering, furnishing, decoration, ... ;
- Complete hybrid organization and coordination of ordered services and event needs;
- Organization of reception and registrations (badges, checkroom, etc.);
- Surrounding speakers and participants;
- Construction and dismantling of the exhibition - including all logistical elements for the passenger drones (cranes, forklifts, etc.).
Why this reference?
