Since 2017, Chips JU has entrusted TMAB Business Events with the organization of various events both in Belgium and abroad:
- Chips JU Launch Event, Event Lounge Brussels, November 30 & December 1, 2023
- ECSEL JU Symposium in Bucharest, June 17 & 18, 2019
- ECSEL JU Symposium at Docks Dome, Brussels, June 19 & 20, 2018
To mark the launch of the new Chips Act and the brand-new Chips Joint Undertaking, Chips JU organized a two-day conference at the Event Lounge in Brussels on November 30 and December 1, 2023. In addition to the conference, the event featured a large exhibition with over 30 exhibitors and a networking event on the first evening at the Royal Museum of Art and History in Brussels.
On both days, the event welcomed over 600 participants from various EU member states, primarily members of the European chips community, policymakers, and the press. Thierry Breton, European Commissioner for the Internal Market, was one of the keynote speakers.
The objectives of the event were as follows:
- Highlighting the launch of the Chips Joint Undertaking;
- Providing a platform for the European chips community to discuss and evaluate the industry's readiness.
TMAB was responsible for the complete coordination of this event:
- Organization, participation, and reporting of preparatory meetings with all suppliers, staff, and security;
- Contact and follow-up with all involved suppliers: security, staff, technical equipment and services, catering, transport, venue, printing, promotional items, furniture, photographer, etc.;
- Organization of reception and registrations (badges, cloakroom, etc.);
- Speakers and participants: communication, briefing, etc.;
- Setup and teardown of exhibition booths, furniture, branding elements, etc.
